Eagle Rare Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey has won its share of honors and awards. Now we're honoring those who share our passion for excellence with The Rare Life Award.
Some nominees are heroic. Some inspirational. Some just make an impact in their corner of the world. But all have one thing in common. They lead rare lives. Read their stories, vote on the ones that inspire you, and share them with friends.
Each story will be submitted into one of six categories: Courage, Leadership, Survival, Devotion, Character and Heroism.
At the end of voting, the top five finalists to receive the most votes in each separate category will be considered for the category prize, while the top 30 nominees to receive the most votes overall, regardless of category, will be considered for Grand Prize and the 2016 Eagle Rare Life AwardVisit Website

Texas Roadhouse Restaurants
We're a family restaurant. And, we believe our family is every member of every community that has a Texas Roadhouse.
It is important to give back to the communities that are so much a part of Texas Roadhouse. That means playing an active role in the events that shape the lives of the people we live and work with. That's why you're likely to see Andy the Armadillo at your local little league game or reading to the children in your local schools. That's also why you'll see our Roadies both in the restaurant and out in the community supporting your local charitable organizations, schools, and fundraisers.Visit Website

American Veterans Center
To guard the legacy and honor the sacrifice of all veterans
The American Veterans Center is honored to have the privilege of preserving the legacy of America’s servicemen and women of every generation. Here at the Center, we know that it is essential to honor and remember not only the veterans we have among us today but also the veterans who have passed away and the many service members who have died while fighting for our freedom.
We sponsor numerous activities throughout the year that educate the public, with a special focus on tomorrow’s leaders, about the many sacrifices that have been made for individual liberty by thousands of people in the United States military.Visit Website
Jordon Spears | Donation presented by the Bowlin Family
Corporal Jordan L. Spears, 21, of Memphis, Indiana, was lost at sea Oct 1, 2014, in the North Arabian Gulf, while supporting U.S. operations in Iraq and Syria (Operation Inherent Resolve). He was a Crew Chief with Marine Tiltrotor Squadron 163, Marine Aircraft Group 16, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, I Marine Expeditionary Force, Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, California.
Spears, along with another Marine, went into the water when the aircraft he was aboard appeared to lose power and descended to the surface of the ocean shortly after takeoff. The other Marine was rescued from the water and was reported to be in stable condition on board the Makin Island.
"Cpl. Spears was a cherished member of our MEU (Marine Expeditionary Unit) family, and he fulfilled a key role in our aviation combat element,” said Col. Matthew Trollinger, commanding officer of the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit, in a Marine Corps news release. “His absence will be felt throughout the unit. My heart goes out to his family, and they will remain in our thoughts and prayers,” he said.
He was 13 days shy of his fourth anniversary in the Marines.
