Fundraising has started for a memorial in honor of Gold Star Families. Gold Star families have lost a loved one in battle.

This is what the memorial will look like.

The plan is to finish the Gold Star Families Memorial Monument sometime early next year at Hawaiian Memorial Park in Kaneohe near the Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery.
